Sometimes it's okay to take a break from design... and a little time to consider that "Pinky and the Brain" is now considered "vintage."

THIS is the Hanse Colani Rotor House... yup... rotor like "rotate."

That's cause the home's central feature is a rotating cylinder - like something out of the Jetsons - that packs a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. The cylinder is rotated left or right to bring the desired room-du-jour into view of the main living area.



I can't decide how I feel about this one. On one hand, German-based Hanse House has created one visually stunning design for a low-impact and very earth-friendly home-in-one... but I'm thinking it's not the most practical thing I've ever seen.
