my favorite room

I designed this room back in 2007 - and it was featured in a Home & Garden article about my Boulder condominium in the magazine's Spring 2009 issue.

So other than for the sake of total self-aggrandizing, I'm posting this found photo because it reminded me of a few of my long-neglected favorite things:

1.) Big Pendant Lamps:

This one is called the Cerebro - like... brains or something. I found it dusty and neglected in the backroom of a Boulder futon warehouse. Here it is at Exclusively Home for cheap. Dig it!

2.) Faux fur throws:

I got this giraffe-had-a-baby-with-a-cheetah throw at Z Gallerie... which I used to like, until they got totally lame. But come to find out there's a whole Web site called FauxFurThrows.com... so apparently the niche market lives.
